E. J. Sonnier — Cajun Pine

E. J. Sonnier recorded the second hole-in-one of his golfing career in late February, using a 2-iron to ace the 160-yard sixth hole at Cajun Pine Golf Course in Mire. Raymond Guidry, Larry Gautreaux and Eby Henry were witnesses to the shot. Sonnier’s first career hole-in-one came back in 1999, also at Cajun Pine.

Christopher Willmouth — Les Vieux Chenes

Christopher Willmouth of Biloxi, Miss., playing for the first time since he moved to Lafayette in early February, used a Callaway X-18 6-iron and a Callaway HX Hot Bite ball to ace the 152-yard 17th hole at Les Vieux Chenes on Mardi Gras Day, Feb. 16. Willmouth’s first career hole-in-one flew directly into the cup on the 17th hole for Les Vieux Chenes’ second ace in as many weeks. Willmouth, a member of the U.S. Army who had been playing golf only eight months, was playing with Charles Allain III.

Leroy Price – Les Vieux Chenes

Leroy Price of Lafayette used a Callaway 8-iron and a Maxfli Noodle ball to record a hole-in-one Feb. 7 at the 141-yard third hole at Les Vieux Chenes. Tim Landry was a witness to the shot.

Kevin Babineaux of Youngsville used a pitching wedge and a Titleist Pro V1 ball to ace the 118-yard 17th hole at Les Vieux Chenes on Dec. 26. Raymond Mikolajczyk, Rayford Girouard, Richard Vincent and Carlton Vincent were witnesses.
