Come experience the courses of David Toms, Hal Sutton, and the most magnificent designer of all, Nature. Louisiana is more than great food, fishing and music – it’s great golf. You’ll find the twelve courses that make up the new Audubon Golf Trail quite exceptional. The Audubon Golf Trail was named for naturalist/artist John James Audubon who, enchanted by the natural beauty of Louisiana, painted a number of his famous bird studies here. Coincidentally, all the courses on the trail are members of the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary for Golf Courses, a program dedicated to protecting the environment and preserving the natural heritage of the game of golf. Today, Louisiana boasts a trail as unique as the state itself. The Audubon Golf Trail gives new meaning to our nickname, “Sportsman’s Paradise.”
